Developed a comprehensive hybrid site for Studio Ružica.

When "Kozmetični studio Ružica" (Ružica Beauty Studio) approached me, their request was far more complex than a standard website for a beauty salon. They needed a digital ecosystem – a platform that not only reflects their calm and professional ambiance but also serves as a comprehensive hub for services, products, and expert advice.
The challenge was to reconcile three goals: present services, function as an e-commerce catalog for products, and retain the human touch and personalized consultation that is the core of their brand.
The main goal was to create a comprehensive site that seamlessly integrates all aspects of Studio Ružica's business. Visitors needed to be able to explore detailed service descriptions, browse a complete catalog of home care products, and find valuable information in the "Blog" section.
The biggest strategic decision on this project was the implementation of a hybrid e-commerce model.
I built the complete structure of a webshop: product categories, detailed pages for each item, and even a cart functionality. However, we intentionally removed the online payment step.
Why? Because Studio Ružica insists on professional consultation. Instead of a client buying the wrong product, the "cart" transforms into a "wishlist" or an inquiry. This allows the salon's experts to get in touch with the client, provide advice, and ensure the client gets exactly what their skin needs. It's a solution that builds immense trust.
Given the large volume of content (services, products, blog), the site's architecture was key.
The result is a powerful, multilingual platform that serves as a central hub for all of Studio Ružica's client needs. It is simultaneously a digital catalog, a service booking tool, and a knowledge base.
I am proud of this project because it shows how technology (e-commerce) can be intelligently adapted to support, not replace, a business model built on personal trust and expertise.
